Introduction by Stephen Coonts. Near fine condition. Immaculate boards and pages. Dust jacket has a tiny tear at the head of the spine but is otherwise like new.
The book is inscribed by author/artist (William S. Phillips) on the flyleaf. There is, in addition, a polaroid photo of artist William S. Phillips posing with the former owners of the book, also signed by Phillips, tucked in along with a second photograph depicting Phillips signing the book (i.e. writing the aforementioned flyleaf inscription). Finally, there is an original signed drawing (8" x 10") by Phillips included. The former owner of the book in question (now deceased) had amassed a collection of more than 10,000 books--all relating to military aviation--and was a personal friend of the artist.
