Previous owner gift inscription (in red pen) to the aforementioned detached page. Damage to front hinge. Previous bookstore pricing (in pencil) to the upper right-hand corner of the title page. Smudging to pages 16-17. Elsewise, there is creasing, toning, scratching, toning, and discoloration to pages of text, text-block edge, and inner covers of boards. Binding is slightly rolled with very minor separation of text-block from the spine. Dust jacket is price clipped and is in fair condition. Shelf-wear. Open tear to upper spine. Chipping to the periphery of the jacket. Rubbing to spine. An unprepossessing (but very readable) copy of this book.
