In Two Volumes, xxi 707 pp. and xvi 808 pp., respectively. 8vo. Unabridged. Illustrated with 18 maps and 19 plates. Condition of first volume is very good. Light wear along edges of boards and textblock. No markings to pages. The second volume shows more wear to covers, has some patches of surface excoriation and is dampstained along the upper gutter between flyleaf and frontispiece recto, but otherwise similarly prepossessing.
