First edition, first printing. 1/4 black cloth binding over lavendar boards. 325 pp. This is an unprepossessing jacketless copy, conspicuously marred by the '65' written in red grease pencil on the front cover (a flaw which, I am confident, could be removed by an enterprising book chemist). There is also a small white smudge on the back side (see photos) as well as the usual rubbing and minor general wear along boards' joints and edges. Former owner's name is written in red ink on front free endpaper but otherwise a pretty clean interior. Get yourself a facsimile dust jacket and this baby's top shelf material.
