This copy is a hardcover without dust jacket in acceptable condition. Minor signs of wear to edges of spine and pages of text, as pictured. Wear to spine, boards, and text block includes: chipping, open and closed tears, rubbing, sun-fading, foxing, and areas of discoloration. As pictured, there is an area of damage to front, inner board from a sticker having been previously pasted then half removed. Previous owner stamp to first, front-free endpage. Area of discoloration to upper, right-hand corner of same page. Minor area of discoloration to upper edge of text-block. Scratching to edges of text-block. Minor area of damage to front cover of book directly above the ‘C’ in ‘Cave’. Speckled areas of discoloration to edges of text-block. Published by Grosset & Dunlap in 1925.

Book was in very good condition for its age (almost 1100 years). ERB editions are becoming increasingly hard to find in collectible or near collectible condition. This was a good find and purchase.
