Previous owner inscription to the first, front free endpage has been crossed out with brown marker. Previous owner stamp located just above aforementioned markings. ‘1947’ has been written in blue pen to the upper, right-hand corner of the same page. Previous owner stamp also located on second front, blank page. Sharpie marking and “#683” written in black pen to lower, right-hand corner of title page. Minor signs of wear to edges of spine and pages of text, as pictured. Wear to spine, boards, and text block includes: chipping, open and closed tears, rubbing, sun-fading, foxing, and areas of discoloration. Published in 1931 by the Stanford University Press. Sticker residue to lower edge of spine.
