Doubleday, 1946. 8vo. Hardcover. 278 pp. First edition, first printing. Book is in good condition. Former owner's name stamped on upper textblock edge and front free endpaper (if your name was 'Herman J. Shuey' you'd probably want to stamp it on everything too, right?). Otherwise clean pages. Boards are clean, with a little wear along upper edge. Price-clipped dust jacket is in very good condition with a couple small chips, two small closed tears along upper front edge (2mm or so--see photos).
