Paul McPharlin - The Puppet Theatre in America, A History: 1524 to Now, with a list of Puppeteers

New York: Harper Brothers, 1949. First edition, first printing. Hardcover. 8vo. Xi, 507 pp. Light red cloth binding with blue title lettering. Illustrated. Indexed. Good condition. Rubbing, fading to covers; slight wear to textblock fore-edge. Clean pages. Dust jacket is missing small chunks at lower forecorners, front and rear and at tips of spine (see photos) but presents fairly well--nothing you'd want to hide from your officious bookshelf-inspecting friends or anything like that.
