Hardcover. 8vo. 624 pp (including two appendices following text). Brown cloth binding with gilt ornamentation and embossed title in black relief. 300 illustrations. Fair condition. General wear, scuffing along covers, top and bottom of spine. Endpapers split along gutters; covers remain attached. Rubbing, general wear to textblock edges. Gift inscription in pencil on flyleaf to Billy and Jamie Sutherland. I didn't look them up but who knows?--they could be famous--and then boom! you're the lucky owner of some kind of presentation/association treasure. Keep that in mind.
