Fraying to the upper and lower outer spine. Small open tears to the outer spine gutter (see photos). Cracked inner hinges. Some separation of the text-block from the spine. Vertical rimpling to outer spine. Some creasing, scratching, rubbing, discoloration to the text-block/text-block edges from age and previous use (see photos).
