Green boards with gold and red lettering/decoration. 485pp. Previous owner's bookplate is affixed to the front pastedown. Faint (and for the most part previously erased) pencil annotations to the upper edge of the front endpaper as well as to the upper edge of the rear pastedown. Staining to the lower edge of the text-block. Rumpling and staining to the front/rear pastedown pages. Glassine page protecting the frontispiece remains attached. Poor condition. Minor separation of the text-block from the spine. Creasing, toning, scratching, smudging, and discoloration to the outer/inner boards, endpapers, pages of the text, and the text-block edge.
