Discoloration to all surfaces of the outer boards (see photos). The binding is very slightly rolled. Previous owner inscription in green ink to the front endpaper with toning to the upper and lower edges of the same page (presumably) from (previously removed) non-acid-free tape. Toning to the upper edge of the front, inner board. Small areas of damage (two small circular impressions to the middle of the page) affecting the first 8-9 pages of the text (hardly noticeable but worth mentioning). Creasing, toning, rubbing, smudging, scratching, and areas of discoloration to the outer boards and spine, inner boards, endpapers, pages of the text, and the text-block edge. The dust jacket is not price clipped (show an original price of $3.00) and is housed in protective plastic. Shelf-wear/edgewear. Chipping, creasing, and small open tears to the perimeter, upper/lower spine, corners, and hinges of the dust jacket.Open tear to the upper, right-hand corner of the front cover of the dust jacket. Rubbing/foxing to the spine of the out spine of the dust jacket. Inner corners of the dust jacket flaps show creasing, toning, scratching, and areas of discoloration. The rear of the dust jacket shows toning, discoloration, and smudging.
