Gift inscription in ink on front free endpaper. No other markings. There is a faint toning pattern to the very outer margin of pages and light wear to edges of boards and textblock. Dust jacket is pretty sharp with a bit of rubbing along periphery. An Actor Prepares is Stanislavski's famous treatise on "method acting," which has had a profound influence on the art.
