Grosset & Dunlap, 1922 (Originally published by Lippincott in same year). 8vo. Hardcover. 215 pp. Reprint. Book is in fair condition. Former owner's name on flyleaf; no other markings to pages. Dampstain fading to cloth along lower 2cm of front boards, spine. Shelf wear scuffing along extremities. Forecorners bumped. Dust jacket is rubbed along joints and edges, has a 3cm open tear at head of jacket spine. Soiling to jacket along lower front joint extending a couple centimeters on either side (see photo). The rest of the hazy smudgery evident in the photos (or most of it, anyway) is on the exterior of the mylar jacket sleeve. An unprepossessing copy all around I must admit but still solidly bound and of course every bit as readable today as it was for Warren G. Harding--who, were he alive today and in the mood to talk would no doubt insist that you nevertheless buy it this very instant without a second thought.
