Aldous Huxley - The Genius and the Goddess
Harper & Brothers, 1955. 8vo. Hardcover. 168 pp. Very good condition. Light toning along rear hinge. No other markings. Dust jacket is in good condition with chipping at forecorners and spine tips, sunfading along spine (see photos). Copyright page indicates 'first edition.' However, front dust jacket flap is seemingly clipped at bottom as well as top. There is no blind stamp, however, and the boards are bound in cloth (unusual for a Doubleday book club edition, i.e. the variety that have 'book club edition' on the jacket flap). My guess is first edition book married to a BCE jacket, but I can't be sure.
